The Lavallette borough council will reorganize Monday night, with two council members being sworn into new terms on the governing body and several professionals set to be appointed.
Joanne Filippone and James G. Borowski, both Republicans who were re-elected in November, will be sworn into three year terms. Councilwoman Anita Zalom will continue on in her role as council president.
Mayor Walter LaCicero will make several appointment and reappointments at the meeting. LaCicero will serve on the planning board alongside Christopher F. Parlow, Joanne Filippone, Joseph Palinsky and Barbara Brown (as an alternate).
Eric M. Bernstein will continue to serve as borough attorney while Bonnie Peterson will serve as borough prosecutor. Margarie Herlihy will serve as public defender.
The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the new municipal complex, according to a copy of the meeting agenda.
