Three Island Towns To Hold Christmas Tree Lightings This Week

Lavallette, Seaside Heights and Seaside Park will all light their borough Christmas trees this week. Here’s when each will be happening:

• Lavallette: Friday Dec. 4, Lavallette School, 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served after the lighting, compliments of the Lavallette Business Association. Bring your camera for pictures with Santa.
• Seaside Heights: The annual Christmas Tree lighting ceremony will be held at dusk Friday, Dec. 4 outside borough hall, located at Sherman Avenue and the Boulevard. Winners for the window painting contest will be announced as well.
• Seaside Park: Sunday, Dec. 6, on the lawn in front of the police department, 5 p.m. Immediately following the tree lighting, there will be a party at the Park Pavilion (Sawmill) on the second floor. A dinner and cash bar will be featured. You must have a ticket to enter the party. Free tickets are available at borough hall.
