A mixed bag of weather will sweep through the Shore area in the week ahead, but one thing will remain constant: temperatures will remain cool, with no indications that Indian Summer will return.
Sunday and Monday will be sunny with highs of 64 and 55, respectively, the National Weather Service said. Overnight lows will be in the low 40s. The sun will continue through Tuesday, though the high temperature will top out at just 55 degrees.
The mercury will rebound to 64 Wednesday, but it will be accompanied by a 70 percent chance of showers throughout the day. The showers will continue through Thursday at 2 p.m., the forecast said, and clear by Friday, with a high of 57.
For trick-or-treating on Saturday, the forecast (still early) has some good news: sunny skies with a higher near 56.
