Lavallette’s Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Set for Friday

The Lavallette community is expected to turn out, as always, for the lighting of the town Christmas tree this Friday, Dec. 6.

The tree lighting and caroling event will be held at 7 p.m. around the large evergreen tree in front of town hall. Kids can watch for Santa Claus to arrive, then follow him to Lavallette Elementary School for refreshments, prizes and plenty of holiday cheer courtesy of the Lavallette Business Association and the Lavallette school PTO.

Also this weekend, the Lavallette Fire Company will host its annual Oyster Supper at the firehouse from 4-8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7.
