A platinum-selling country music artist will make Seaside Heights the backdrop to his latest music video, Shorebeat has learned.

Bryan White, who was in town Memorial Day weekend to help launch the new Jersey Shore Country digital radio station, will return June 21 to film the video for his new single “It Must be Love.”

“Back in May, I was honored to perform in  Seaside Heights for the 100th anniversary of Kohr’s Frozen Custard and took part in the ribbon cutting for JerseyShoreCountry.com on the Boardwalk. I had no idea just how much fun I would have,” said White. “I fell in love with Seaside Heights and the whole area. The hospitality was absolutely through the roof. It really felt like family.”

White said filming the video on the boardwalk was “a no-brainer” once he and his crew began debating where to shoot it.

The filming of the video will begin at approximately 9:30 a.m. on June 21 near the Franklin Avenue Stage on the boardwalk.  The organizer of the filming, Dee Pellegrino of DPM Shore Solutions, said all are welcome to attend and – perhaps – some will make the cut to be in the video.

“We invite you to come and be part of this exciting event,” Pellegrino said. “We need extras to help make the video special, so join us on June 21 at 9:30 a.m.”

After a day’s work, White will perform an acoustic set at EJ’s Tap House, 919 Boardwalk, beginning at 7 p.m.

“This truly is an exciting time for Seaside Heights,” said Mayor Anthony Vaz. “To have Seaside Heights make such an impression on an artist such as Bryan White is a huge compliment and a testament to all the businesses and people that make our town beautiful and special.”

White’s single “It Must Be Love” is available on iTunes and other digital outlets.
