Seaside Heights Detectives Bust Five for Drug Distribution

Police in Seaside Heights, working with the DEA’s Atlantic City field office and county authorities, executed a search warrant on a Hancock Avenue residence and later arrested five people in connection with the distribution of heroin, cocaine and marijuana.

According to Detective Steve Korman, on May 16 at approximately 10 p.m., detectives from the Seaside Heights Police Department executed a search warrant at 250-B Hancock Avenue, backed up by the Ocean County Regional SWAT Team and the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department. Heroin, cocaine and marijuana were found during the search, however two suspects were not present when the officers arrived. They would be located later – one at a motel and the other at a neighboring residence.



As a result of the investigation, Edward Boyer, 37, of Cedar Drive in Lacey Township, was charged with three counts of drug possession, two counts of drug possession with the intent to distribute, two counts of drug distribution, possession of drugs with intent to distribute in a school zone, possession of drugs with intent to distribute in a recreation zone and obstructing the administration of law.

Robert Hudson, 40, of Hancock Avenue, was charged with two counts of drug possession, two counts of drug possession with the intent to distribute, possession of drugs with intent to distribute in a school zone, possession of drugs with intent to distribute in a recreation zone, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic syringe.

Lisa Grasso, 53, of Kearney Avenue, was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Toms River.

The two suspects who were taking into custody a day later are also facing charges. Cheryl Worman was arrested May 17 at the Mark III Motel by Detective Michael McCurdy. Vincent Parker was arrested May 19 on the 200 block of Hancock Avenue by Ptl. Joseph DiGiovanni.

Worman, 40, of Carteret Avenue, was charged with drug possession and conspiracy to distribute.

Parker, 32, of Hancock Avenue, was charged with two counts of drug possession, two counts of drug possession with the intent to distribute, possession of drugs with intent to distribute in a school zone, possession of drugs with intent to distribute in a recreation zone, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic syringe.
