Ocean County Catholics Receive Dispensation From Weekend Masses

Catholics who attend churches within the Diocese of Trenton have received a dispensation that allows them to skip Mass this weekend due to the foul weather.

“Members of the parishes in Burlington, Mercer, Monmouth and Ocean Counties are urged to share this information within their communities in whatever way possible, especially with the elderly,” the diocese said in a statement.

The dispensation was granted Friday for Jan. 23 and 24 Masses by Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M.
