This is a joke, same corrupt people running the tow year after year.

    • Joanne Petitti Filippone

Why hide behind your phony name?… if you have something worthwhile to say .. say it to my face. You know NOTHING about me whatsoever and your slanderous accusation is totally unfounded!

      • disqus_N3292TPQCr

I know the same corrupt people have been running Lavallette for years. Ask the chief of police, but be careful he might hit you.

        • Joanne Petitti Filippone

Your baseless comments reflect on ME … PROVE how I am corrupt … you cannot .. just keep hiding behind your phony name. IF you there was any substance to your accusation .. come forward and prove it!

          • disqus_N3292TPQCr

Everybody running unopposed, need I say more. Democracy at it’s worst.

          • Joanne Petitti Filippone

Running unopposed is NOT equivalent to corruption. ANYONE is free to put their ‘hat in the ring’ . .. THEY choose not to .. it’s THEIR decision .. not mine! Unopposed also means that the public is pleased with the ‘job’ one is doing … if they were not, they would run for office.

If you are so unhappy with things here in Lavallette .. or on the barrier island as a whole .. you do have the right to move elsewhere. I suggest that you do that … but if you remain here and have complaints, find a productive way to bring about change …. not just run your mouth off with useless, unsubstantiated nonsense.

That’s what i’m talking about, if I don’t agree with the way you run the town, you tell me to move. Unopposed means they are afraid of the repercussions of the Lavallette Political Machine. I’m done, time to take my dog for a walk on the dunes.

Hey Joanne – Is it a conflict of interest that you are also the Mayor’s paralegal for his law practice? How can the Mayor ethically represent people / parties who do business with the borough?

        • Joanne Petitti Filippone

Joe Paggs … BEFORE you post an outlandish statement such as this, do your homework! I am NOT related to Mayor LaCicero in any way nor am I employed by him, I am NOT the ‘Joanne’ you wrongly assumed I was.

          • Joanne Petitti Filippone

Joe Paggs .. Don’t you think you owe me AND the Mayor of Lavallette an apology? You statement was totally unfounded.
